What are your best-known products/solutions/services?

At Jointline, we’re known for our high-performance line marking solutions, especially with our innovative UV-cure internal safety markings. These markings are not only highly durable but also feature an instant-cure process, making them perfect for high-traffic, time-sensitive environments like warehouses, logistics centres, and other industrial areas. With our UV-cure technology, we’re able to minimise operational downtime, allowing facilities to resume full productivity immediately after application. This capability is essential in settings where any delay can impact supply chain and distribution efficiency. Our UV-cure marking is designed to withstand abrasion, chemical spills, and heavy use over extended periods, even in areas with intense machinery and foot traffic. Beyond line marking, we offer comprehensive concrete services, including concrete repairs, joint sealing, pothole repairs and concrete bay construction. In addition, we have a surface dressing department that specialise in resin bonded and bound surfacing along with tar, spray & chip and imprinted patterned concrete.

How do you think your industry sector is performing at the moment?

The off-highways sector is currently experiencing steady growth, largely driven by increasing safety standards and a rising need for operational efficiency within warehousing and logistics facilities. As this sector expands, we’re seeing a growing emphasis on maintaining safety without compromising efficiency. High-quality line marking and repair solutions are becoming vital as companies realise the importance of clear, durable markings for optimised workflows and reduced hazards.

How many markets are you in, and what is your biggest market?

We actively serve four key markets: aviation, highways, off-highways, and civil and maintenance works. With growing demand for both internal and external line marking. The warehousing and logistics markets, in particular, have expanded rapidly, making off-highways a critical area for us. This increase reflects the expanding focus on safety, especially in environments where forklift operation, high shelving, and pedestrian interaction intersect. Internal line marking, as well as marking for logistics yards, has become more sought-after due to evolving safety standards and compliance requirements.

In what ways does your company stand out from its competitors?

We distinguish ourselves through our use of advanced technologies, like the Hydroblaster and Jet Dryer, which enable precise line marking removal and superior surface preparation. These technologies ensure a clean and meticulous finish, which is crucial in high-standard environments. Our internal line marking materials are VOC-free, allowing us to meet stringent safety requirements in sensitive environments such as food storage, cold storage, and pharmaceuticals. By using VOC-free materials, we not only provide a safer environment for employees but also ensure compliance with strict regulatory needs.

What are your most recent product innovations?

We adopt innovative technology that includes the Hydroblaster, an efficient tool for line marking removal, surface retexturising and rubber removal, and our new jet dryers, which accelerate drying times during marking applications. These tools have helped us provide faster, cleaner, and environmentally friendly marking processes, meeting our clients’ sustainability goals. The Hydroblaster offers an eco-friendly alternative to traditional line marking removal, leaving no harmful residues and enhancing both safety and environmental standards. Our new jet dryers make it possible to complete safety marking applications even in challenging environmental conditions, helping us meet time-sensitive demands in sectors like logistics and warehousing. Together, these tools allow us to deliver high-quality, eco-friendly services that are perfectly in line with today’s standards.

How do your business levels in 2024 compare to previous years?

In 2024, our business levels have shown strong growth, thanks to expanded client partnerships and our investments in new equipment that boost our capacity and efficiency. This growth reflects heightened demand across key markets, particularly in the off-highways sector, where safety regulations and operational efficiency are paramount. By investing in modern equipment, we’ve been able to tackle a wider range of projects with increased precision and speed.

What is your strategy for growth and success in 2025?

Looking ahead to 2025, our strategy centres on increasing operational efficiency and quality by investing in staff training, advanced equipment, and digital solutions. We’re committed to adapting to industry changes and aim to stay ahead by nurturing our workforce and embracing innovation. This strategy will help us build a solid reputation as a reliable, responsive provider and allow us to expand our offerings in key sectors. By focusing on employee skill development and integrating modern equipment, we’re better equipped to meet client needs with precision and efficiency. Expanding our digital solutions is also part of this strategy, as it will streamline our operations and reinforce our dedication to delivering exceptional quality and efficiency.

Are you investing in staff training and skills development, and can you give examples?

Investing in our team is a priority, and we actively support cross-divisional training to enhance our employees’ capabilities across multiple service areas. This approach builds flexibility and fosters a collaborative atmosphere, which improves project delivery efficiency. By encouraging cross-divisional training, we promote a comprehensive understanding of our various services, so all employees gain insight into how each division operates. This approach enriches each team member’s skillset, strengthens project coordination, and ultimately results in higher-quality service and increased client satisfaction.

What work are you doing in the area of sustainability?

Sustainability is at the heart of our operations. We’re actively reducing our carbon footprint by using solar-panel-equipped vans, which power ancillary equipment, cut down idling time, and minimise emissions. Our Hydroblaster technology is another key part of our sustainable approach, providing an eco-friendly alternative to traditional line marking removal. In addition, our team participates in the Supply Chain Sustainability School, which keeps them updated on the latest sustainable practices and prepares them to apply environmentally conscious methods on various projects. With these efforts, we’re not only enhancing our own sustainability practices but also contributing to a more responsible industry standard.

What sets your company apart from others?

Our approach to project delivery is highly collaborative, bringing together the expertise of all our divisions to ensure seamless project execution across even the most complex schemes. This integration allows us to handle every stage of a project, from line marking to concrete repairs and maintenance, with precision and quality. By providing a full spectrum of services under one roof, we eliminate the need for multiple contractors, simplifying project management for our clients and guaranteeing cohesive, high-quality results every time.

How future-proof and flexible are your solutions?

We are dedicated to staying ahead of industry trends, consistently adopting new technologies, materials, and processes. This approach allows us to provide solutions that not only meet today’s demands but are also adaptable to future changes in standards and client needs. By embracing innovative materials and practices, we offer solutions that are both reliable and flexible, positioning us as a provider that’s ready for whatever the future holds.

How would you sum up your company in three words?

Quality. Flexibility. Reliability. These three words encapsulate everything we stand for at Jointline. We’re committed to delivering high-quality, sustainable, and adaptable solutions across all our services, with a focus on precise execution, dependability, continual improvement and professionalism. This dedication to quality and progress ensures we meet and exceed our clients’ expectations every time.
