What are your best-known products/solutions/services?

TVH is recognised for its extensive range of parts and accessories for material handling machines, industrial vehicles, construction, mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and agricultural machinery. Our standout offerings include TVH University, which provides specialised training, and GemOne, our fleet and safety management solution. We also emphasise our own brands—TotalSource, Bepco, CAM attachments, and Energic Plus—which reflect our commitment to continuous improvement and quality.

Which markets are you in and what is your biggest market?

TVH operates in 184 countries across six continents, with Europe being our largest market, particularly in the material handling and industrial vehicle sectors. We are also seeing rapid growth in the small earthmoving equipment market, which includes equipment such as backhoe loaders, mini-excavators and compact track loaders—vital for industries like construction and landscaping, with agriculture being an important market not to forget.

In what ways does your company stand out from its competitors?

TVH stands out due to our expansive product range and our ability to supply a huge amount of parts globally. We offer fast, reliable service through our combination of local presence and global reach. In addition to our many strategic partnerships with industry-leading brands such as Albright, Curtis, Bosch Rexroth and Baldwin Filters, we collaborate with numerous other partners to ensure that we consistently deliver quality components that meet OEM standards. Our rigorous quality control and testing procedures ensure both OEM and alternative parts meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.

What are your most recent product innovations and partnerships?

One of our key innovations is GemOne, which provides real-time telematics data for better fleet management and safety. We are also making strides in battery regeneration technology through our Energic Plus brand, which includes battery regenerators that specifically help extend the lifetime of batteries. Additionally, we have established partnerships with Chinese OEMs, such as Sinoboom and Zoomlion, to meet the rising demand in the MEWP industry. Furthermore, in 2024, TVH UK became a Certified Excellence Partner for Bosch Rexroth.

What are the major trends and developments affecting your industries and your customers, and how are you responding?

A significant trend in our sector is the growing presence of Chinese manufacturers, as well as the increasing shift towards electrification. In response, TVH has forged partnerships with Chinese OEMs in the MEWP industry, with plans to extend this focus to other industries where needed. We have also created a dedicated electrical systems design team to stay at the forefront of electrification. Additionally, to help customers reduce operational costs, we are enhancing our logistics network and offering faster, more efficient services.

Can you provide a recent example of TVH’s community support initiatives?

Recently, TVH supported Ballyclare Rugby Football Club by delivering a complete set of branded equipment, including post protectors, pole protectors, flags, and hit shields, in preparation for their first-ever All Ireland League home match on 28 September. This initiative was part of a competition organised by TVH, with support from BCF Handling, allowing customers to nominate grassroots clubs for equipment kits. In September 2023, TVH also became the main sponsor of the Belgian Rugby Federation, reinforcing our commitment to supporting rugby communities locally and internationally. These initiatives align with TVH’s core values of teamwork, respect, and perseverance, demonstrating our dedication to making a positive impact in the communities we serve.

How do your business levels in 2024 compare to previous years?

In 2024, TVH is focused on enhancing our e-commerce capabilities and expanding our product range. Our ability to adapt to industry shifts, such as electrification and new partnerships, positions us well for continued success and responsiveness to market demands.

Our strategy focuses on continuous improvement, particularly through expanding our offering in the small earthmoving equipment market and advancing telematics through GemOne. We are also focused on enhancing the online shopping experience and optimising our logistics network to support seamless customer interactions.

TVH is making technical advances in safety and sustainability. Our GemOne telematics solution optimises equipment operation and includes safety features such as real-time monitoring and automated checklists. On the sustainability front, we are actively reducing our carbon footprint by installing solar panels at our facilities and promoting recycling initiatives.

What work are you doing in the area of sustainability?

Sustainability is at the heart of TVH’s operations. In addition to our energy-saving initiatives, such as installing solar panels in the UK and Belgium, we are reducing plastic use and promoting renewable energy sources. We also achieved a significant milestone in 2023 by remanufacturing a record number of parts, furthering our commitment to sustainability.

What sets your company apart from others?

Our extensive product range, dedication to customer service, and strong partnerships with leading brands distinguish TVH from its competitors. Our sustainability initiatives, along with our technical expertise, further enhance our global reputation.
