WLN – What’s the most exciting thing about your job?

The variety and scale of jobs that I get to work on.

Ross Cameron, Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, Advanced Handling

WLN –Who’s inspired you most in your career?

My Grandfather. From being an Engineer in the RAF to still building things in his garage into his 90s, he has always inspired me.

WLN – If you were an item in a warehouse, what would you be?

Considering how much time I’ve spent designing them, I would have to say a scissor table.

WLN – If you had to do it all over again, what would you do different?

Not a thing.

WLN –What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you at work?

I’m fairly fresh in to my career so I’m fortunate to be able to say that nothing too embarrassing has happened to me… so far.

WLN – Who or what makes you laugh?

I’m sure my colleagues in the technical team would love me to say them, so I’ll let them have this one.

WLN – Do you have any hidden talents?

I’m not sure I would consider it a hidden talent, but I’ve been drumming since the age of 9.

WLN –Who would be your favourite party guest?

I would have to say Jurgen Klopp.

WLN –What is the greatest luxury in your life?

My family. I wouldn’t be where I am without them.

WLN –What is your favourite guilty pleasure?

Sweets, crisps… just food really!

WLN – Do you have any secret ambitions?

I would love to have a kickabout at Anfield someday.

WLN –What’s your dream holiday destination?

Japan.

WLN –What are your three favourite movies of all time?

Jurassic Park, Step Brothers and Toy Story.

WLN –What is your favourite book of all time?

I’m not too sure on this one, but probably something by Roald Dahl.

WLN –What’s your favourite pastime?

Playing football with the guys or drumming along with my mates.

WLN – If you won the Lottery, what would you do?

I would go on an around-the-world trip with my girlfriend.

WLN –What would be your advice to someone thinking about coming into the industry (apart from “don’t do it”)?

Don’t think, just do it!
