ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is introducing the new ASSA ABLOY DE6090AR Automatic Restraint System – designed to ensure maximum safety at the loading bay.

Eliminate unplanned movement

The new ASSA ABLOY DE6090AR Automatic Restraint System minimizes the risk of accident and injury during the loading process by preventing unplanned vehicle movement. A rounded blocking arm provides two key safety advantages – vehicle creep is eliminated, and the driver cannot drive off before the loading process is complete because the vehicle wheel is trapped by the blocking arm.he hydraulic system applies constant restraining force during loading operations so you can be confident that the process is safe from start to finish.

Integrated operations for complete control

The integrated operations system means that dock doors cannot open before the restraint system is in place, and the blocking arm will only retract when the door is closed. Operations only commence once the vehicle is safely docked.

That also means trucks will never be able to move off before loading is complete, when forklifts and personnel are a safe distance from the loading bay.

Easy to install

Ensuring safety at loading bays should not be difficult. That’s why installing the ASSA ABLOY DE6090AR Automatic Restraint System requires minimal building preparation.

There is limited need for internal building space, and connecting the ASSA ABLOY DE6090AR Automatic Restraint System to the operating control box is easy with just one point of connection needed from the outside.

Manual alternative

ASSA ABLOY also offers the DE6090MR Manual Restraint. It has the same functionality, except that the blocking arm for the rear wheel is secured and released manually.

The manual system also incorporates a two-way interlocking system, meaning dock doors cannot open before the restraint system is in place and the blocking arm will only be retractable when the dock door is closed.
