Connexas Group has secured a contract to provide its innovative telematics platform to the entire fleet of vehicles operated by Lincolnshirebased haulier, MS Wayman and Sons. Established in 1956, the familyrun company operates a fleet of 20 HGVs from its base in Spalding, Lincolnshire. The fleet specialises in agricultural haulage, including potatoes, sugar beet, salt and minerals, as well as carrying all types of palletised goods.

MS Wayman & Sons initially implemented the Group’s highdefinition, multi-camera solution across its fleet in April 2018, before deciding to migrate to the ‘all-inone’ Verilocation telematics system last month.

Nicola Wayman, Company Secretary at MS Wayman & Sons, commented: “After being impressed by the ease of use and quality of the Verilocation camera system, we were interested to learn about the benefits of its vehicle tracking and monitoring systems, specifically the remote tachograph download and driver behaviour monitoring solutions. The ability to operate through a single platform really appealed to us and it was an easy decision to deploy the technology across our entire fleet.”

“Unlike our previous camera system, which offered no live access, Verilocation’s 24/7 live-streaming cameras allow us to monitor our fleet from any device, at any time, ensuring a high-level of security. This feature was vital to our business as our drivers can be away from the depot for extended periods of time.”

MS Wayman & Sons have also seen immediate ROI from Verilocation’s Remote Tachograph Download feature, enabling the operator to remain fully compliant and save valuable man hours with automated remote download of all tachograph files.

Andrew Overton, CEO of Connexas, said: “Today’s fleet operators need total visibility of what is happening when drivers are out on the road and a fully-integrated telematics and camera system, which can be tailored to their specific needs, is the ideal solution.”
