What were BIXOLON’s primary objectives for participating in LogiMAT this year?

We were looking to have discussions with the decision makers from the industry who were looking for new ideas on how to change their operations within the logistic and warehouse sectors. We were very excited for 2026 as we have released a lot of new products and LogiMAT was the perfect platform to showcase our latest launches. We were able to present our ideas in real time whilst getting immediate feedback from the visitors.

What key messages did you want visitors to your stand to take away from the show?

We wanted them to see that these are solutions that can be implemented right away. We have focused heavily on making sure our printing solutions are practical and easy to be integrated into our customers’ solutions so that they can have immediate value from them. What really sets BIXOLON apart is that we are the only manufacturer who provides a complete portfolio of printing solutions. From POS and mobile solutions to industrial lines and kiosk mechanisms, we have the versatility to meet the demands of different vertical industries.

What differentiates your company from other companies within your sector?

I believe that BIXOLON exhibits the perfect combination between supporting high quality technological product advancements, whilst being cost effective. From one side we offer very good technical specifications and are not overly expensive, which is very important these days, as customers shouldn’t have to compromise between quality and price. What I would also like to make clear is that BIXOLON takes care of the design and manufacturing of the printers, so we have full control over the quality.

In your view, what are the most transformative innovations currently shaping the warehouse industry?

Linerless printing technology is becoming increasingly popular throughout the industry. It can benefit companies from several angles, such as effectiveness, because they can speed up their operations, for example, by reducing the number of times they change their media rolls. At the same time, they can hit their environmental and sustainability goals by reducing waste. I believe that these two components are very important to our sectors.

What steps are your company taking to build a more sustainable environment?

We are tackling sustainability from a holistic approach. From one side, we are looking into our own portfolio. As a major focus for us right now is linerless printing technology, which effectively eliminates the backing paper waste. We’re also engineering our printers to be robust so that they have a long lifespan of the hardware, helping our customers to reduce electrical waste and lower their energy consumption over time.

We are also evaluating our internal processes. We are modernising our facilities and investing in new solutions that can move the operations in a way that produces fewer emissions so we can also be an example to others working in our sector. This even extends to our packaging, which we have redesigned to be lighter and recyclable.

What strategies do you believe the warehouse and logistics sectors should adopt to maximise operational efficiency?

If companies want to be efficient, they need to look into proper system integration. They need to have real-time visibility, with a focus on flexible automation. To achieve these goals, they need to leverage a combination of technologies such as RFID, mobile solutions and linerless printing. These three components combined can reduce errors to give greater effectiveness and speed.
