From 30 June to 2 July 2026, the NEC Birmingham will host Multimodal 2026, the UK and Ireland’s leading event for supply chain and logistics professionals. As part of UK Logistics Week, this year’s show will deliver an even more comprehensive platform for learning, networking and doing business across the entire logistics network.

Multimodal offers a unique opportunity to connect every part of the supply chain in one place. From road, rail, sea and air to warehousing, intralogistics and last-mile delivery, the event reflects how modern operations are increasingly integrated.

A key highlight for the sector is the UK Warehousing Association pavilion. Acting as a hub for innovation, best practice and collaboration, the pavilion brings together leading warehousing providers, technology specialists and industry experts.

For visitors, it provides access to insight on key issues such as automation, labour challenges, sustainability and capacity constraints. With warehousing playing a critical role in enabling resilient and efficient supply chains, the UKWA pavilion reinforces its growing strategic importance.

Multimodal’s free-to-attend conference programme is another major draw. Developed in partnership with leading industry bodies, including the UK Warehousing Association and Logistics UK, the sessions tackle the most pressing challenges facing logistics today.

Key themes for 2026 include decarbonisation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence and supply chain resilience. For warehouse operators, sessions focusing on automation, data visibility and AI-driven optimisation are particularly relevant, offering practical insights into improving efficiency and performance.

With more than 100 sessions delivered by over 120 industry leaders, the programme provides a huge wealth of knowledge to be shared. Importantly, the focus is on real-world application, ensuring attendees leave with ideas they can implement immediately.

The exhibition itself remains at the heart of Multimodal. Bringing together hundreds of exhibitors, it offers a complete view of the logistics landscape.

For warehousing professionals, this includes access to the latest in automation, robotics, storage systems and software. Being able to compare solutions side by side and engage directly with suppliers enables faster, more informed decision-making.

As part of UK Logistics Week, Multimodal is stepping up with even more value for attendees: the co-location of Warehouse and Yard in an adjacent, seamlessly connected hall means smoother navigation and richer networking across supply chain functions.

At the same time, eDX – the delivery and fulfilment arm of IRX – joins Multimodal under one roof. Meanwhile, just down the road at Stoneleigh Park, Road Transport Expo (RTX) will be in full swing. It’s a powerful alignment that makes the West Midlands the undisputed hub of UK logistics that week. One badge gives access to all events.

Another highlight of the event is the Multimodal Awards, taking place on the evening of Day One. Recognised as one of the sector’s most respected awards programmes, they celebrate excellence across logistics, including warehousing, technology, sustainability and partnerships.

The Awards evening offers more than recognition, it is also a key networking opportunity. With a pre-drinks reception and an after party, attendees can connect with peers, clients and partners in a relaxed environment, strengthening relationships and creating new opportunities.

In an increasingly digital world, the importance of face-to-face interaction continues to grow. Multimodal provides a space where conversations can take place, relationships built and ideas can be exchanged freely. Multimodal is free to attend, register to be part of the conversations shaping the future of supply chain and logistics.
