What’s the most exciting thing about your job?

The most exciting thing about my job is the variety of automation systems I get to see and interact with each day. I also love interacting with customers and building strong relationships.

Who has inspired you most in your career?

That’s a difficult question, I spent 12 years in the Army prior to joining Breathe. I suppose that would have to be my old Sergeant Major, Mr Marconi.

If you were an item in a warehouse, what would you be?

I would have to be an AMR, I like moving around.

If you had your time again, what would you do different?

I would have listened to advice more at a younger age, as you get older you really see what people were trying to say to you.

What’s your favourite pastime?

I love spending time with my family, my wife and I do regular activities at the weekend with our son.

Do you play a sport, follow a sport or support a team?

I play golf and I also regularly go to Old Trafford to watch Manchester United.

Do you have any hidden talents?

I can do lots of impressions, and I can also memorise the majority of film scripts.

Who would be your favourite party guest?

Probably Karl Pilkington, I love his sense of humour.

What is the greatest luxury in your life?

Probably my watch collection, closely followed by collection of Adidas trainers.

If you won the Lottery, what would you do?

I would buy a yacht and sail around the world.

Who or what makes you laugh?

Working at Breathe is great, we have a laugh and I love the banter between colleagues. You should never take life too seriously, laughter makes everything better.

What’s your dream holiday?

That would have to be a safari, one thing I have never done.

What’s your favourite music album?

Urban Hymns by The Verve.

What’s your favourite movie or Netflix series?

Favourite movie would have to be Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels.

What would be your advice to someone thinking about coming into the industry (apart from “don’t do it”)?

From someone who left the military and joined the industry I would say go for it. There is so much technology and you learn something new every day. Be a sponge and learn as much as you can from those who have been in it the longest.
