Calor Gas, official sponsor of the FLTA Safety Conference, will lead a session at this year’s event to share some of the knowledge the company has accrued as the UK’s leading supplier of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
The pressurised containers that contain LPG need regular inspections to be safe and legal – but it is not always clear on what basis these should be carried out. Who should inspect them, and how often?
Phil Anderson, training co-ordinator for Calor, will outline why such inspections are necessary, when they must be done and who is responsible for carrying them out in a 20 minute masterclass.
Mr. Anderson, who delivers bespoke in-house training to Calor’s customers, is a regular speaker at the Safety Conference, and is adept at distilling complex legislation into practical advice for his audience.
With LPG powered fork lift trucks becoming an increasingly attractive option for UK companies, this will be a session that many cannot afford to miss.
