Already renowned for its innovative pallet racking and storage solutions, Dexion has now developed a revolutionary Warehouse Intelligence System called C-WIS. They will be launching this new software at the IMHX show from 16th – 19th November at the NEC, Birmingham.
C-WIS is a newly developed control system that enables the user to continuously optimise warehouse functionality.
Any company with an existing WMS or ERP system would benefit from C-WIS as the initial creation of a warehouse operation will not always be the optimal setup. Operating as a “cockpit”, which collects and processes information from a users system, C-WIS will recreate a real time 3D simulation of the entire material and work flow for the warehouse. This then allows the Company to optimise stock locations, investigate staffing and service levels, working methods, forklift truck type and usage and picking routines to name a few. One of the many benefits of C-WIS is that the impact of potential changes can be simulated prior to implementation in order to assess their effectiveness, making C-WIS the next generation of warehouse optimisation.
Showcasing this new product alongside their pallet racking and shelving systems Dexion will demonstrate how they can add value to any warehouse operation.
