The UK’s leading palletised freight network has become the first in its sector to achieve a network wide ISO 9001:2008 certification.
Pall-Ex received the initial ISO 9001 series certification in 2003 and by working closely with BM TRADA certification, they have maintained this international standard and are now the first and only pallet network to offer a joint ‘mark of quality’ for all members operating within the network.
This accolade means that all members collecting and delivering on behalf of Pall-Ex will now be covered by the quality standard.

Our impressive list of accreditations and awards for performance, training and innovation includes the integrated management system.
This system integrates three specific management standards: IS09001:2008 for quality management, ISO14001:2004 for environmental management and OHSAS18001:2007 for health and safety management.
Pall-Ex has continued to demonstrate its commitment to improving health and safety and environmental performance. Key initiatives developed in recent years include working with the Health & Safety Executive to reduce pedestrian movements within its Hub environment; continuing to operate a cleaner, greener compressed natural gas fleet of trucks; and endorsing the design of an efficient trailer to its membership of hauliers to reduce fuel costs and environmental impact.
