CABKA GmbH, a German company specialising in plastic pallets, is taking its business to customers in the United Kingdom. With a new branch in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, the firm is building further on its short-distance strategy. The new location – within range of the large industrial centres of Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham – is to provide simpler, more direct service to customers in Great Britain and Ireland. “Personal collaboration with our customers is one of our most important concerns,” says Chris Colegate, Area Sales Manager for Great Britain and Ireland. “Transport and logistics solutions also require on-site attention.” The new sales office is supplemented by a warehouse in Bristol. “This allows us to handle call-off orders quickly for our customers, who would then save much-needed on-site storage space,” adds Colegate.
Chris Colegate is already experienced in the pallet trade. He knows the business from the bottom up, from the wood pallet marketing perspective. So it’s easy for him to convey the advantages of CABKA plastic pallets.
