Wessex Packaging has been appointed as the official UK distributor and partner for Innova Packaging Solutions, bringing one of Europe’s leading ranges of automated end-of-line packaging technology to manufacturers and logistics operations across the UK.
The new partnership further strengthens Wessex’s growing Packaging Systems division and gives UK businesses direct access to Innova’s extensive portfolio of automated pallet packaging and load securing technology, backed by specialist UK-based advice, installation and support.
Based in Castellón, Spain, the Innova Group is an established manufacturer of industrial end-of-line packaging systems designed to secure and protect palletised products for storage and transportation.
Its technology includes automatic stretch hood systems, pallet strapping machines, stretch wrapping equipment, shrink hood solutions and fully integrated end-of-line packaging lines.
The systems are used across a wide range of demanding manufacturing sectors including construction materials, cement, ceramics, chemicals, food and beverage, agriculture, packaging manufacturing and logistics.
The Innova partnership builds on Wessex Packaging’s established expertise in packaging systems and automation. With the globally best-selling ErgoPack strapping system already part of its portfolio, Innova’s advanced end-of-line technology significantly broadens the range of integrated solutions Wessex can offer manufacturers and logistics operations across the UK.
Wessex will work alongside customers from the earliest stages of a project, helping them assess their existing packing and palletisation processes before specifying an automated solution that integrates effectively with their production and logistics operation.
This can include operational audits, packaging trials, efficiency and cost analysis, line design and system specification, through to installation, commissioning, operator training and ongoing technical support.

Among Innova’s flagship technologies are its stretch hood systems, which apply an elastic film hood over palletised loads to provide high levels of stability and protection while helping businesses optimise the amount of packaging material they use.
The range also includes automatic vertical and horizontal strapping technology, rotary-arm and stretch wrapping systems and bespoke integrated packaging lines.
One example is Innova’s automatic vertical pallet strapping machine, capable of applying straps in one or two directions and processing up to 60 pallets per hour. Its lateral movement system enables several strapping operations to be completed without moving the pallet itself, helping manufacturers maximise available production-line space.
The new partnership combines Innova’s engineering and manufacturing expertise with Wessex Packaging’s established UK presence, packaging knowledge and nationwide customer support.
