The first edition of Warehouse. & Yard. is now taking place at the NEC Birmingham on 30th June and 1st July 2026, as the event plays its part in the first UK Logistics Week.
Located in the adjacent hall to Multimodal, with a free visitor cross-over between the two events, Warehouse. & Yard. forms a key part of the wider UK Logistics Week collaboration alongside Multimodal and Road Transport Expo at NAEC Stoneleigh. Warehouse. & Yard. brings a clear and distinctive focus to the market: the operational heartbeat of the supply chain.
While Multimodal connects the freight, transport and end-to-end logistics community, Warehouse. & Yard. is focused specifically on the people responsible for making warehouse, intralogistics, yard and site operations work more efficiently, safely and sustainably.
The original vision was simple: to create a focused show where warehouse and yard operators could meet new suppliers, source practical solutions, discover the latest innovation and address the real operational challenges they face every day. That vision remains at the centre of the event. However, as is often the case, the market has helped define the direction of travel.
What began as a more focused automation, materials handling and intralogistics exhibition has evolved into a broader operational show, reflecting the full range of products, services and suppliers now needed to optimise modern warehouse and yard environments. From robots to recycling, from packaging to pallets, from security to software, Warehouse. & Yard. showcases the breadth and diversity of solutions required to keep goods, vehicles, people and processes moving.
With approximately 100 exhibiting companies taking part in its first year at the NEC, Warehouse. & Yard. brings together suppliers across automation, materials handling, storage, software, packaging, safety, security, yard management, sustainability, infrastructure and operational services. Combined with Multimodal, the two NEC-based events offer access to more than 350 exhibitors and a shared audience of logistics, supply chain and operations professionals.
The visitor audience reflects the full diversity of the UK supply chain, with attendees from manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, retail, ecommerce, energy, food and drink, pharmaceuticals, construction, 3PLs, fulfilment, distribution and wider industrial sectors. The show is designed for both senior decision-makers and practical operational leaders, including logistics directors, supply chain directors, operations directors, warehouse managers, yard managers, distribution centre managers, transport managers, fulfilment managers, facilities managers, health and safety managers, procurement teams, automation leads, engineering managers and continuous improvement specialists.
In short, Warehouse. & Yard. is built for the people responsible for getting goods in, goods out, goods on, goods off and everything moving safely and efficiently in between.
This really is a UK first: the formation of a major UK logistics destination created through collaboration. For many in the sector, it is about time the UK had a premium logistics and supply chain event capable of offering a genuine alternative to some of the larger global exhibitions. This year’s collaboration is already a major step forward, but it is also only the beginning. Based on supplier interest alone, Warehouse. & Yard. is already looking at the potential to double its floor space in 2027, with more than 150 additional companies having expressed an interest in exhibiting.
The diversity of the exhibitor line-up underlines how far the show has developed. Visitors can meet leading names across the warehouse and yard operations landscape, including Dematic, JLG Industries, ORGATEX UK, Elan Sales, Pointer Group T/A Oakway Storage, CoGri Group, DEMMA UK, ClarusWMS, Traka / ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions UK Ltd, C3 Solutions and EPS – Ehrhardt + Partner Solutions. Together, they reflect the breadth of the modern operational supply chain, covering areas such as automation, access equipment, WMS and yard management systems, workplace organisation, security, industrial flooring, storage, handling, dock and site flow, and operational efficiency.
Justin Craig, CEO of Warehouse. & Yard., said: “The real power of Warehouse.& Yard. this year is the collaboration with Multimodal and Road Transport Expo at NAEC Stoneleigh. This powerful exhibition collaboration has created a broad spectrum of leading suppliers, which means logistics and supply chain professionals can explore the full gamut of solutions needed to optimise their supply chain operations.
“They can look across the whole logistics landscape, then narrow in on a specific focus area, whether that is picking within warehousing, safety in yard areas, automation, packaging, software, fleet movement, site flow or operational efficiency. That is what makes UK Logistics Week so exciting. It gives the market both scale and focus.
“But ultimately, visitors make an event buzz. We have built Warehouse. & Yard. for the warehouse, yard and logistics operations community, and we want people to make the effort to come, bring colleagues, tell friends, suppliers and contacts, and help us make this first edition really special.
“We would also like to thank our exhibitors, sponsors, partners, associations and media partners, who are essentially funding this endeavour and helping to create something the UK logistics market can be proud of.” A key part of the appeal for visitors is the simplicity of access. Once visitors have printed or collected their badge, one badge allows entry across the participating shows, making it easier for supply chain professionals to move between complementary events, exhibitors and content streams.
Warehouse. & Yard. also has strong support from across the industry. The UK Warehousing Association has a presence at the Multimodal show, with the UKWA Pavilion positioned close to the open crossover area between Warehouse.& Yard. and Multimodal. Clare Bottle, Chief Executive of UKWA, is also moderating a panel on innovation.
AMHSA has a pavilion, bringing together expertise from the automated materials handling sector, while The Logistics Leaders Network is present with a range of its members. The Bonded Warehouse Association is also represented, further demonstrating the diversity of communities and specialist interests being brought together under the Warehouse. & Yard. banner.
The show is also supported by Forkliftaction as a supporting media partner, adding further reach into the materials handling, forklift, warehouse equipment and intralogistics community.
Another major focus for the show is its official charity, Road to Logistics. The organisation plays an important role in opening up career pathways into the transport and logistics sector, supporting people who may otherwise face barriers to employment and helping the industry address long-term skills challenges. Warehouse. & Yard. is using the platform of the event to shine a light on this work and raise awareness of the people, skills and social impact issues that sit behind the movement of goods.
The show floor also includes major sponsor support. Dematic joins Warehouse. & Yard. as Automation Sponsor and is offering free one-to-one consultations onsite, giving visitors the opportunity to discuss practical automation challenges and opportunities directly with one of the sector’s leading solution providers. Carlton Packaging supports the event as Sustainable Packaging Sponsor, helping to highlight the growing importance of smarter, more responsible packaging in fulfilment and warehouse operations.
Content is also being delivered with a difference. Across two days, Warehouse. & Yard. is hosting interactive Q&A-led conference sessions designed to allow the audience to question, challenge and engage with expert panels on the issues that matter most. Rather than traditional one-way presentations, the seminar programme focuses on practical, audience-led discussions around core operational themes including warehouse innovation, automation, WMS and YMS, health and safety, sustainability, yard operations, supply chain risk and future-proofing.
For anyone involved in warehouse operations, yard operations, intralogistics, goods-in, goods-out, fulfilment, storage, handling, safety, packaging, software, automation or any wider aspect of supply chain performance, Warehouse. & Yard. is a show to visit.
Visitors can explore a focused line-up of suppliers dedicated to improving the way warehouses and yards operate, while also taking full advantage of the free cross-over into Multimodal. Together, the two NEC events offer an exceptional breadth of suppliers, new innovations, proven technologies, practical services and expert insight across the full logistics and supply chain journey.
Whether visitors are looking for a specific solution, benchmarking future investment, exploring new ideas, or simply wanting to understand where the market is heading, Warehouse. & Yard. and Multimodal together provide a powerful reason to attend. With one badge giving access across the shows, this is a rare opportunity to see the full picture of UK logistics in one visit.
