Introducing Logistex, experts in warehouse automation

Logistex, a company with roots dating back to 1937, brings unmatched experience in warehouse automation and software integration to the partnership. From its origins as Cleco to its current position as a leader in automated material handling and software (WES) solutions, Logistex has a long-standing reputation for innovation in automation and now employs over 250 people nationwide.

With expertise in storage and retrieval, picking, sortation, and order forwarding systems, Logistex delivers fully integrated solutions using best-in-class technologies from across the industry. As an independent, employee-owned company, Logistex offers end-to-end services including system design and implementation, warehouse execution software, equipment refurbishment, and 24/7 support.

Two Leaders. One Complete Solution.

The collaboration between ek robotics and Logistex began in June 2024, working closely to develop the bespoke solution for a 1.2-million-square-foot facility. When complete, the order with ek robotics will exceed 70 Vario Move vehicles, marking the largest deployment of AGVs in over ten years.

The bespoke solution will be made up of ek robotics Vario Move transport robots and Logistex’s Reflex warehouse execution and control software.

ek robotics’ Vario Move series is renowned for its adaptability, durability, and advanced fleet orchestration capabilities. Designed for high-throughput environments, Vario Move AGVs offer intelligent transport logistics that reduce operational strain while increasing system efficiency and uptime.

Logistex’s warehouse system, Reflex®, will directly interface with all technologies and automation equipment providers, ensuring complete inventory and picking control. This real-time coordination between physical automation and warehouse software intelligence enables end-to-end optimisation across the entire supply chain.
