AR Racking, a specialist in industrial storage solutions, has renewed its EcoVadis Gold rating, reaffirming its commitment to environmental, social and ethical sustainability. This recognition places AR Racking among the top 5% highest scoring companies of the 100,000 companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide.

EcoVadis assesses the sustainability of companies in four key areas: environment, labour practices and human rights, ethics and sustainable purchasing. The Gold medal reflects AR Racking’s effort in initiatives such as the installation of solar panels at its production centre, the obtaining of the Certificate of Guarantee of Origin for the use of renewable energy and the ISO 50001 energy efficiency certification, as well as its adherence to the UN Global Compact.

“This recognition reflects our ongoing work to integrate sustainability in every aspect of our operations,” commented Enrique Bellido, AR Racking Quality Manager. In addition, EcoVadis has announced that, in partnership with One Tree Planted, a tree will be planted on behalf of AR Racking, as part of its commitment to global reforestation.

Bellido added: “We are at a key stage of business transformation, and this achievement motivates us to continue leading the change towards a more sustainable future. At AR Racking we have always been committed to innovation and in sustainability it is no different.”

The renewal of the EcoVadis 2024 Gold medal reinforces AR Racking’s role as a leading company not only in the storage solution sector, but also in its commitment to balanced growth from an economic, social and technological perspective.
