Moody Logistics and Storage will boost its palletised delivery business by 20% after being appointed by Fortec as its distributor for the North East region. The Cramlington-based family business has already hired two new HGV drivers to reflect the growth in its delivery volume. The palletised goods are collected from Fortec’s distribution hub in the East Midlands and Moody’s are seeking to maximise revenue by securing additional freight within the North East for the southbound leg of the journey.

It is encouraging to see an increase in the volume of pallets being delivered across the country, a sign of industry growth.
