What is one of the key warehouse solutions/products or services you offer?
One of our most value adding and scaled solutions for distribution centres, is our fully automated gatehouse system.
In any business there will be operational challenges that create unwanted friction, that slow down processes and increase costs. Our solution is fully customisable and identifies a vehicle as it arrives at a distribution centre, provides automated access control and gives a bay number to the driver. In addition, the multilingual interface provides clear instructions and the ability to outline key health & safety guidelines specific to the site, improving on-site safety for all colleagues.
All of this is done seamlessly and executed automatically 24/7, which means the inefficiencies of manually entering data is a thing of the past. We are proud to say that our solution has streamlined and simplified operations for both drivers and warehouse operators for a range of retailers, including Asda, Tesco and many more.
Can you tell us about any recent customer projects and how you helped the customer meet their challenges?
ITAB are proud to have supported one of the UK’s leading grocery retailers, ASDA, in leveraging technology to enhance traffic flow and operational efficiency. In collaboration with Asda, ITAB have successfully implemented an automated on-site booking and log-in/log-out system that effectively manages the end-to-end flow of vehicles, drivers, and cargo.
Our Automated Gatehouse has helped achieve a seamless traffic flow, whilst improving security, onsite management, and efficiency. The OnRed platform offers a fully integrated portal that grants access to comprehensive analyses of all depot deliveries and a fully controlled entry approach to each site.
Numerous customers have reported substantial annual ROI after implementing our smart solutions across various locations, resulting in considerable savings and improved operational efficiency.
What industries do you support?
Our speciality is the retail sector; however, we understand that this is a market that is extremely competitive, and margins are tight – so we can leverage our experience of reducing operating costs across a wide range of sectors across the logistic industry.
What other Warehouse solutions, products or services do ITAB offer?
ITAB offers a range of solutions to support your needs, from entrance and exit systems and digital communication to asset protection and smart lockers. Our secure lockers safeguard valuable assets, such as headsets and scanners, allowing for efficient tracking and reduced loss or damage. This optimised storage solution enhances colleague productivity and ensures tool security and is another example of a very positive and noticeable return on investment within 12 months of implementation.
