Panel Construct Ltd has recently moved to larger premises to enable further expansion so it can offer services to include supplies of quality approved materials for self-build as well as supply and install to large and small businesses, who require the company’s products in warehouses with unused space for expansion projects. To enable sustainability and environment awareness all the company’s panels used in temporary construction of walls and ceilings are re-used at end of life in fire barrier hoardings and dismantled and recycled at the end of temporary hoarding use. All staff go through basic site health and safety tests and are guided through all installs by senior installers to ensure the company keeps abreast of upgrades in site conditions to comply with industry requirements.

Graham White, Managing Director at Your Choice Fire & Security (YCFS), sheds light on why fire systems often remain an afterthought, even though they are paramount to operational efficiency and staff safety. One of the primary reasons for this is down to an archaic approach to fire safety – with a tendency to fit only standard fire alarm systems. With industrial premises in the UK being particularly vulnerable to fire outbreaks, with a staggering 1,774 incidents reported between 2022 and 2023, this is very much a misguided view.

Part of the worldwide HORIBA Group, Nuneaton based HORIBA MIRA is a leading international vehicle engineering and test service provider and world-class location for transport research and development.

When one of its tenants needed a storage facility to safely house car bodyshells and automotive components on-site, HORIBA MIRA called upon Smart-Space to find a quite specific solution. The space allocated for the storage unit was exposed and subject to the impact of adverse weather conditions, while the ground wasn’t suitable for screwing into, so a novel approach of weighting the building with concrete blocks was used to resolve both challenges.

When Glamping Fires, a supplier of high-quality glamping equipment, decided it was time to expand their manufacturing process they came to Aganto for a temporary solution. Within just 6 weeks Aganto was able to supply them with a 15m x 20m x 6.2m insulated temporary workshop. This effortlessly increased their onsite capacity, allowing them to expand their manufacturing capabilities without incurring excessive costs or making long-term commitments.

It’s excellent to see the buildings firms providing extra warehouse space, helping the industry meet increasing demand.
