Andreas Laubner GmbH, the European distributor for Newcastle Systems’ mobile workstations, has gained a strong partner: Since February 2024, M.I.Data Solutions, based in Ringwood, southern England, is the reseller for the U.S. manufacturer. Laubner and M.I.Data Solutions are now jointly expanding sales and corresponding service offerings into the United Kingdom.
The mobile workstations are primarily used in warehouses to optimise processes such as on-demand label/document printing, quality control, and picking. Andreas Laubner GmbH, based in Maxdorf, is responsible for assembly, distribution, and service of Newcastle Systems mobile workstations for the whole of Europe. With the support of M.I.Data Solutions, prospects and customers in Great Britain can now be served faster and more efficiently. Jonathan Dawson, Commercial Director of M.I.Data Solutions: “M.I.DSL has been offering logistics solutions since 2017. We were familiar with Newcastle Systems’ mobile workstations, and I was always impressed by their product marketing. However, it seemed as though there was no dedicated representation in the UK. I saw this as an opportunity to expand M.I.DSL’s solution portfolio and welcome the chance to lead the representation of Newcastle Systems in the UK.”
Since 2018, Laubner has been a Europe-wide certified distributor for Newcastle Systems. Four different models are assembled by hand in Maxdorf and shipped to customers. The system house from Maxdorf focuses on complete solutions and, in addition to mobile workstations, also offers the appropriate device peripherals as well as sophisticated software solutions and services. These high standards also apply to the new business partner M.I.Data Solutions, which has been providing optimal on-site service in Great Britain since February, thus, closing a gap that previously existed due to distance, customs regulations, and other logistical factors for prospects and customers on the British Isles. “I am pleased that we have entered into a partnership with Newcastle Systems as their reseller in the UK,” says Dawson. “We are responsible here for sales, after-sales support, and repair and maintenance services.”
