Working in collaboration with ISD Solutions, a leading contractor specialising in the development, construction, and maintenance of cold stores, BID Group have been commissioned by their client, Magnavale, to install 20 Klimate K2 High Speed Freezer Doors in the new Magnavale Easton cold store development.
Magnavale is the choice partner for major food manufacturers, importers and retailers for temperature-controlled storage solutions. The row of bespoke Klimate K2 freezer doors are being installed in the developments low-bay area, which on completion will comprise of 20 loading docks, alongside conveyors, racking, and monorail systems that will enable automation for services such as contract packing.
Currently under construction, the warehouse in Easton, Grantham, is on schedule for completion Q3 of 2024. The cold store will operate solely on renewable energy, so choosing energy efficient products in the build was imperative. The Klimate K2, is a high speed, low maintenance, energy efficient freezer door making it the perfect solution for the loading bay area in this modern cold storage facility.
