As pioneers in intelligent lighting controls, Danlers is delighted to be in the company of some of the brightest minds in the property technology (PropTech) sector at this year’s PropTech Connect event. Ingy, Calumino, and Fujitsu Components Europe B.V. are just a few of the influential names gracing the stage at this year’s event. Their insights are poised to revolutionise the future of real estate technology, and the Danlers team is in attendance to soak in every bit of knowledge they have to offer.

In the competitive world of retailing, creating an inviting shopping environment for the customer, whilst also efficiently managing operational costs is paramount, a challenging situation being faced at a Co-operative store in Chelmsford. To overcome these challenges head-on, the company turned to their trusted electrical contractor to modernise the instore illumination, by installing lighting fittings which will achieve a range of objectives of energy efficiency in reducing the overall energy consumption to lower operational costs, in enhancing the visibility in-store, so as to create a welcoming and well-lit shopping atmosphere for customers, and for sustainability in aligning with the Co-operative corporate sustainability goals. To achieve these various specification requirements, the contractor selected the Ansell Lighting Pace Plus 600×600 Multi-Wattage LED Panels, providing an innovative lighting solution to both transform and enhance the shopping experience for customers, whilst also maximising operational efficiency.

Aurora Lighting was able to provide a wide range of technologically advanced lighting solutions that met the requirements of the project at an office complex in Belfast. The upgrades to the Aurora Lighting solutions have saved 10,988 watts, and delivered 36,517.9 kwh of energy savings. The impressive payback period is just 28.65 months, meaning the investment will pay for itself in just over two years.

With an annual manufacturing capacity of over 600,000 luminaires, Whitecroft Lighting sees through the entire process of manufacturing from initial design to the final product. As expanded on by operations director Robert Bates, “keeping our operations within the UK has been at the core of our investment journey”. With around £2 million being invested in automated technologies, the company’s new equipment allows it to manufacture luminaires at rapid speed whilst maintaining a supreme level of quality, ensuring speed and agility within its manufacturing capabilities.

It is exciting to see the lighting providers innovating to keep warehouses well lit and therefore operating at maximum efficiency.
