Dexory has secured $19 million in Series A funding led by European VC firm Atomico, with participation from existing investors Lakestar, Kindred, Capnamic, and Maersk Growth, the investment arm of the global logistics and container shipping company, Maersk. Addressing the urgent need for improved space utilisation and increased efficiencies in warehouses around the world, Dexory combines powerful analytics with autonomous robots capable of capturing rich image and sensor data from across a warehouse. This powerful combination provides comprehensive visibility across warehouses of any size, as well as connecting warehouses across the global supply chain through Dexory’s digital platform, DexoryView.

Distribution centre technology provider Lucas Systems has announced its rollout of new technologies promising productivity, comfort and ease of use to a Gen Z warehouse workforce of the future. The technologies – built to serve the new “iGeneration” of workers born between 1997 and 2012 – promise reduction of worker stress, a less physically-taxing work experience, and help for on-floor supervisors by providing the tools needed to be more agile. LAC Logistics Automation’s zone pick, turn-key multi-floor order fulfilment and replenishment solution has empowered Hachette to increase capacity and throughput. The project comprised a multi-tier zone–picking solution across four mezzanine levels to manage a new order–picking system for educational publishers. The objective of the system was to facilitate the pick solution and bulk handling for over 100K SKUs together with delivering improvements in performance and efficiencies.
