I am still so very humbled to have been the winner of the Freight Leader Award at last year’s awards. It was so unexpected and amazing. Honestly, I still feel as happy as I did last year. Winning the award has been a significant milestone in my career and has had such a positive impact on me personally and professionally.

On a personal level, the feeling of recognition has been amazing. The support and encouragement I received from my team, network near and far, as well as fellow finalists and winners, has been nothing short of incredible. Knowing that my hard work has been acknowledged and celebrated by others is truly humbling and has motivated me to continuously push my own limits and have even more faith in my abilities.

The opportunity to connect with so many remarkable individuals in the industry before, during and after the awards has helped expand my network and provided new opportunities to learn from talented individuals who share the same passion for the industry. The connections I have made have not only had a positive impact on my professional life but have also become a source of inspiration.

I’m truly honoured to have been asked to be a judge for the 2023 everywoman in Transport & Logistics Awards. This opportunity feels like a full circle moment and brings back so many happy memories from my journey.

Being a judge introduced me to even more incredible talent within our industry. Recognising the exceptional work, determination and resilience of others has been a very rewarding experience. Our industry is fast-moving and ever-changing, and it is so important that we continue to acknowledge the achievements of our peers.

It was my first experience being a judge, and it was wonderful. There was a lot of great support from fellow judges, and it was an exciting opportunity to engage with even more inspiring individuals in the industry. I would absolutely encourage anyone else with a similar opportunity to get involved. Being a judge not only allows you to contribute to the growth and development of others but also offers a unique chance to gain valuable insights from industry leaders.

Winning the award and returning as a judge have been truly memorable experiences in my professional journey. I am so grateful for the support, encouragement, and recognition I have received, and I look forward to the continued celebration of talent within our industry.
