Offering quality, Toyota Material Handling is launching two new Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) truck models: the VCE-series’ newest models will expand the range, providing performance to fit every operation’s needs. Additionally, a revised Toyota BT Vector VCE150A model comes with an improved and updated ergonomic operator compartment, including intuitive controls and interactive colour touchscreen. Demonstrating compassion, a children’s charity, launched by total supply chain solutions provider Oakland International, provided much needed funding for a group of young football players to attend a tournament in Skegness in April. The charity, Oakland Foundation, aims to ensure all children, and particularly those living in poverty or who are underprivileged and irrespective of social background or physical ability, can participate equally. The Foundation offers support, for children under the age of 16 and their families, through initiatives based around education, health and nutrition, and sport.

Innovation and Technology & Transport (ITT) Hub will be bringing together change-agents, their technology and their mind set to set the future path for a smarter, more sustainable global transportation system, on 10-11 May 2023. The ITT Hub programme will focus on net-zero and decarbonisation, EV charging, OEM innovation, sustainable fuels, telematics and fleet technology, intelligent transport systems, finance and leasing, and future tech.

Streamlining their operations, NTN Corp., a manufacturer and seller of bearings, driveshafts and precision equipment, has rolled out Infor WMS warehouse management system. NTN will use Infor WMS as its supply chain execution solution to combine warehouse management, labour management, transportation management and third-party logistics (3PL) billing management into a single integrated and rational business process for the entire supply chain. Infor WMS is enabling NTN to streamline operations through standardisation and visualisation of finished product shipping processes at all of its warehouses and plants across Japan.
