What does your role involve?

I lead the business and provide strategic and tactical support for each team – sales, compliant payroll solution, employee engagement, financial and accounting matters.

I have regular meetings with clients, partners and prospective clients, and head HIVE360’s senior management team that includes our Head of Marketing, and Head of Sales. Together we manage operations, and drive business, sales, development and marketing strategies.

Do you have direct contact with customers?

Establishing and nurturing customer relationships is essential. Spending time discussing a client’s own business delivers valuable insights, and informs how we can add value, and support their business, operationally and strategically. I regularly meet customers, and join our engagement and business support teams on monthly, bi-annual, and annual client review meetings.

How is HIVE360 growing in the UK?

Since launching in 2016, HIVE360 has had a significant impact on the shape of employee and temporary worker engagement by helping clients become employers of choice, giving them an edge over competitors, and a solution that helps attract and retain the best talent.

Demand for our services has grown.

Our customers include privately-owned businesses with an average of 250-plus employees or workers. We processed just under 500,000 payslips in 2022, are seeing average total app sessions of 70,000/month across all client portals, and delivering over 90% average engagement rates for clients.

To support this, we have expanded our team and introduced strategic service teams, including Engagement, Pensions, Payroll, Compliance, Customer Experience.

What solutions does HIVE360 offer?

HIVE360 brings an innovative approach that streamlines client’s payroll processing and pensions administration, reduces operational costs, and enhances employee experience.

Our outsourced payroll services are fully HMRC and GLAA compliant, focused on delivering improved and enhanced strategic payroll support for permanent employees and temporary agency worker standard PAYE payroll.

Typically clients see a boost to their bottom line of around £100 per employee per annum in the first year of outsourcing PAYE payroll and benefits to HIVE360.

We design a solution to suit every individual operation, whether clients want to fully outsource payroll, improve on payslip communication, or boost employee wellbeing benefits and support. There’s no setup cost, no capital outlay, and the way we work minimises disruption.

We create and manage a bespoke, individually-branded employee pay and benefits app as standard for each client. This app, Engage, uniquely brings everything together for employees with one single sign-on, significantly boosting engagement levels with the myriad of employee benefits and wellbeing support provided, as well as training, pay and pensions communications. Available in 120 languages, it provides extensive employee benefits through My Health, My Money, My Discounts, and My Work features.

Because our solutions are our own, we can be responsive and flexible with timely enhancements and additional features, especially important for employee engagement strategies and benefits.

What new services/solutions are you offering for 2023?

We are shortly launching our Engagement Hub; a powerful analytics and communications platform for clients, enabling a detailed view of real time usage and engagement across their app. It includes a communications platform where they can launch surveys, updates and recognition messages directly to individuals, teams or their entire workforce.
