What are your best-known products/solutions/services?

Warehouse partitioning systems, machine safety fencing and property protection cages. Accessafe are a brand new company who are bringing Roman order to UK warehouses!

Which industry sectors are your customers in and which ones are growing fastest?

3PL, Warehouse automation, Robotic and cobot cells. Accessafe UK are seeing an increase in all our sectors of operation. In truth anywhere, where there is a requirement for the separation of products and processes from the workforce, segregating sections of warehouse and production facilities and above all, protection of personnel.

What are your most recent product innovations?

We are constantly improving our products to meet the demands of customers. New access doors, specialist panels and more automation of doors.

Industries frequently need to carry out setting and maintenance operations on machines which lead to an ever growing demand of special tailor made doors. This is why Accessafe manufactures automated movable guards and high speed rollup doors conformant with Machinery Directive 2006/42/CE and with EN ISO 12100: 20120, EN ISO 14 120:2015, EN ISO 14119:2013, EN 60204-1:2018 standards.

High speed rollup doors for machinery protection certified as per Machinery Directive 2006/42/C.

These doors have been designed for a high intensity industrial use. This door allows for frequent opening/closing, short cycles, it also helps improve efficiency in production and manage material handling and logistics operations. Its modular structure makes it suitable for a variety of applications from machine and line protection in industrial settings, to material handling in logistics and warehouse settings without compromising work cycles.

What are the major trends and developments affecting your category and your customers, and how are you responding?

Accessafe UK are seeing more automation in every sector, automated doors in warehousing and production, from small rise and fall doors across a conveyor to full blown automated doors opening via remote control.

Can you tell us about any recent customer contracts and how you helped the customer meet their challenges?

Accessafe UK recently supplied a customer with an enclosure for the stores area in their factory. By utilising our standard panels with non standard doors in this case a bifold 4m wide door and a drop down hatch in a 1.5m door we were able to achieve FLT access, personnel access and emergency push bar exit at an affordable cost to the end user. With our flexibility and full fabrication capablilty, a modular system doesn’t mean you have to compromise on functionality.

How does business in 2022 compare to previous years? What’s your strategy for succeeding in the current climate?

Accesafe UK was created, by our parent company, Sponmech and our Italian manufacturing partner Access SRL, due to an increased demand from our sectors for a simple solution to create solutions for any eventuality.

What’s the latest news from your company?

We are about to launch our brand new website with an online portal for purchasing spares and small amounts. We have a new design package and have increased our warehousing space to allow for more stock.

Can you tell us about any areas where you’re currently making technical advances eg safety, sustainability, environment?

Safety is a given for Accesafe UK. We are proactive and if we identify an area that we could provide a solution for our R&D, we are on it immediately. Our panels are manufactured using recycled steel and we have a new automated stock system (K-store) in our warehouse that enables us to order more efficiently and cut down transport costs.

Are you investing in staff training and skills development?

Training is important to Accessafe UK. Courses and product training are always available. When we invest in our workforce we provide a better service to our customers.

Are you taking part in any major trade shows? Can you tell us what you’ll be exhibiting there?

We will be attending trade shows, the last one we did was IMHX in 2022. We’re still working on our strategy so if there are any show organisers out there who think they would be a good fit for us. Feel free to contact me.
