Warehouse Partners has extended its range of netting solutions with the introduction of its new ToppleNets™ solution. Fully adjustable and bespoke, the ToppleNets™ netting range has been developed to safely contain and restrain unracked loads and ground-stored pallets.

The strong 5mm gauge netting forms a protective barrier that secures loads in the event of accidental impacts or toppling, helping protect personnel and stock in areas where free-standing products are block-stacked and where awkward items such as kegs are capable of toppling or becoming dislodged.

The ToppleNets™ solution is designed to work independently or in tandem with Warehouse Partners’ existing RackNets™ system to create a complete warehouse risk reduction solution capable of securing loads whether stored at ground level or on racking.

As with the RackNets™ system, there is more to the ToppleNets™ solution than just netting. All of Warehouse Partners’ ToppleNets™ feature the tried-and-tested Gripple® D6 Dynamic Lockable Plus. This proven device secures the wire fixing/loading cable between fixed points and will not fail under tension caused by a dynamic load. It has been independently tested and certified by Lloyds British.

All ToppleNets™ solutions are made bespoke to suit a customer’s requirements. The system is designed to keep block-stacked goods safe and separate from defined aisles and high traffic areas both inside the warehouse and out. Warehouse Partners also fabricates the posts that frame and firmly anchor the ToppleNets™ in small to mid-size areas to a customer’s own specification. They can also be attached to ceilings to protect longer or higher areas and walkways.

The 5mm gauge netting is the same as that used exclusively in the RackNets™ system, which is proven to contain and restrain pallet loads up to 1,000kg. The inherent elasticity of the netting helps to safely decelerate any load pushed against it. Rugged and made to last, the netting requires minimal maintenance and is available in a range of colours for coordination with any warehouse.

Warehouse Partners has stressed that the net safety system designed is a risk reduction system and cannot be tested for the multiple impacts that can occur across all scenarios. It is vitally important that any solution is always used in conjunction with a suitable Safe System of Work and with an accompanying risk assessment.

Chris Hopkirk, Sales Director, Warehouse Partners said: “We are confident that the ToppleNets™ solution offers the best protection against injury and product damage where blockstacking is used. It is especially effective for containing and restraining heavy kegs or barrels which can be prone to toppling over in the event of accidental impact by material handling equipment or if not stacked correctly.

“The netting is also effective in helping to demarcate storage areas within the warehouse by clearly defining aisles and walkways where there is heavy footfall or MHE operating. This helps ensure a safer working environment by protecting pedestrians and MHE operators from falling stock.”

Warehouse Partners will be showcasing the ToppleNets™ solution and outlining more about the benefits of the system at IMHX 2022.
