Crown SDS, leading logistics service provider, has announced its new sponsorship deal with True Heroes Racing, the UK’s first and only motorcycle race team dedicated to supporting Wounded, Injured and Sick (WIS) UK Service Personnel & Veterans.

With the racing season around the corner, the organisation has welcomed Crown SDS as a sponsor right at a time when it can make an impact.

Part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the local community, Crown SDS chose to sponsor True Heroes Racing because of its unique backstory and uplifting mission. Steve Rushton, Director at Crown SDS, comments: “A fundamental part of Crown’s culture is ‘giving something back’ — so when we discovered True Heroes Racing and all it aspires to achieve, we knew we had to pledge our support.”

Not only that, but True Heroes Racing is also close to the company’s heart.

Managing Director at Crown SDS Tim Seagers comments: “True Heroes Racing was founded in 2012 by serving Royal Navy sailor Phil Spencer. As an ex-military myself, it’s amazing to see the work that Phil and the organisation are doing to engage, empower and inspire injured UK Service personnel.”

“At Crown SDS, it’s always been my mission to apply key military values in logistics, as well as supporting Service leavers into employment. It means a lot to us that we can help to support all individuals involved, both on and off track, and get the chance to amplify the great work of a like-minded community.”
