Once the shift supervisor creates a work schedule using redPILOT, employees can check their shift plans at any time and from any location using teamAPP, with every employee only able to view their own shifts. With teamAPP used to request holidays, record sick leave and enter training courses, labour planning is simple. Employees can request shift swaps in teamAPP, with all available colleagues with the required skills being automatically messaged. If someone accepts the shift change without compromising performance or causing any additional costs, the shift supervisor does not need to approve the swap. The teamApp automatically takes care of job rotation, alternating the assignment of strenuous and tiring work to help ensure that all employees remain fit for work.
