Sixpenny Group and their development partners Arcus-PCD have signed a pre-lease agreement with Evri on its new warehouse in Manor Royal, Crawley. Evri (previously Hermes UK) is the biggest dedicated parcel company in the UK and this deal will secure its future in Crawley for a further 15 years. The warehouse will be 82,000 sq ft and include 22 docking bays, 50m yards, 12.5m eaves and will achieve BREEAM excellent.

The new warehouse will provide Evri with the stronghold it needs to double output from its current operation and support its growing business needs, with an ability to operate 24/7

Egor Shestakov on behalf of the developer, Sixpenny Group, said “It has been fantastic to work with Evri on this project and we were privileged to assist their expansion and continued growth in the UK. Covid created many obstacles during the development, but we were committed to our partners and made sure we did everything we could to secure their new site”.

Along with their development partners Arcus-PCD, the team have produced a best-in-class warehouse in the heart of Manor Royal. David Bowcock from Sixpenny Group added, “We are always striving to improve on our developments and this project is a great example of this”.

The site has a great location and is key to bolstering our existing network, this new depot will help us to continue processing and delivering a record number of parcels for all our clients and customers.”

Manor Royal is one of the most significant employment hubs in the Southeast and the largest business park within the Gatwick Diamond. Its location is superb with Gatwick airport on its doorstep, immediate access to the M23 and A23 and only 15 minutes to the M25 or 25 minutes to Brighton and the south coast.

It provides in excess of 9 million sqft of commercial floorspace attracting many blue-chip companies, such as Boeing, Amazon, Tesco, Virgin and Evri to name a few.
