Yorkshire Packaging Systems, the leading UK suppliers of shrink and stretch wrapping solutions, are now fully operational at their new headquarters in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, and report that they have experienced a triumphant month since opening their doors on 1st March.
The increased capacity offered by the 30,000sq feet double warehouse has allowed YPS to vastly increase their stocks of flexible films, orders of which have been coming in thick and fast in recent weeks, with the firm shipping out as many as 100 pallets of shrink and stretch wrap per day. The double-level showroom has allowed for a greater collection of machines to be showcased and multiple customers have already benefitted from socially distanced machinery trials in the open-plan setting. The increased office space at the Brighouse site also means that YPS can afford to expand the in-house customer service team and as such are currently recruiting for two new sales order processing colleagues.
The company’s much-anticipated rebrand was unveiled alongside the move and it has been warmly received by customers and suppliers alike. YPS have revealed some insights behind their branding choices, introducing a futuristic, technological corporate font, a shade of ‘Yorkshire Slate’ to convey the stability and reliability of four decades in business and a striking icon which alludes to a protective packaging layer around a product.
Some final touches are being made to the site to prepare it for a grand opening that Yorkshire Packaging are planning when COVID restrictions ease, and early feedback indicates the event will be well attended.
