With the last quarter of 2019 edging ever closer, Kenfield Ltd – one of the largest specialist door manufacturers in the UK – is pleased to look back on a year of continued growth and on-going optimism for a sector that thankfully, doesn’t look to be slowing down any time soon.

Established in 1983, the Birmingham-based company has its roots still very much in the country’s second city, but has grown to become one of the largest and most specialist door manufacturers in the UK, as well as a leading supplier of PVC and insulated strip curtains.

Esteemed Success

Accredited with BS EN ISO 9001:2008 quality system since 1992, quality is at the very heart of all of Kenfield’s products – and it’s this inherent quality and attention-to-detail that has resulted in such esteemed success and industry demand for its doors – and for a number of sectors, from local authorities and retail outlets, to engineering, pharmaceutical and many more. In particular, customers in the retail and supermarket sectors have reaped the benefits of the company’s Crash, Energy and Hygiene doors for many years after needing ‘just the right’ solutions for their refrigeration and food storage premises as well as security and fire doors.

Award-winning

More recently, the company is delighted to have a multi award-winning door to its name.

Kenfield’s K750 Energy door was the worthy winner of both the Refrigeration Product of the Year and Retail Initiative of the Year at the RAC Cooling Industry Awards 2018.

Newly-appointed Managing Director at Kenfield, Jon Carn, who joined the company in January comments: “It was absolutely fantastic to have received the awards and certainly gave our team even more momentum in the development of industry-leading doors.

A long-standing customer of Kenfield, Andrew Barnes, Operations Manager, at Birmingham Wholesale Market Company, recently commented:
