SEC Storage is delighted to announce it has been selected as finalists for The Logistics Awards in two categories, ‘Innovation’ and ‘Operations SME’, in collaboration with customers Christie Lites and Murphy & Son Ltd respectively. The announcement comes less than a week after SEC Storage was a finalist at the UKWA awards held in London, nominated for both the Innovation and Young Employee of the Year categories.

Showcasing true innovation, the Christie Lites solution involved the design of a unique multi-point, multi-directional pallet shuttle system, providing a dramatic increase in volumetric capacity and five-fold rise in the amount of pickable locations. Murphy & Son Ltd have benefitted from a highly space-optimised and operationally efficient storage system, which is future-proofed for their growing needs.

The winners will be announced at the prestigious industry awards event held during IMHX in September.

SEC Storage’s commercial director Harry Watts commented, “SEC prides itself on designing and delivering true innovation to solve often complex operational logistics challenges. The nominations highlight our diverse capabilities and the lengths we go to deliver the optimum solution for the customer.”
