The UKWA Awards reward excellence in the third party logistics sector and attract entries from some of the most influential companies in the logistics and materials handling industry.
This year has seen a record number of entries submitted in all categories and the overall winners will be announced at UKWA’s 75th Anniversary Lunch which takes place at London’s Dorchester Hotel on 27th June in the presence of HRH The Princess Royal.
HRH The Princess Royal is the founding Patron of Transaid – the charity that works to transform lives by delivering safe, available and sustainable transport solutions across sub- Saharan Africa – and, to mark its 75th anniversary, UKWA has pledged to raise £75,000 for Transaid during 2019.
UKWA CEO, Peter Ward, comments: “The UKWA Awards are established as symbols of achievement and emphasise the importance of logistics within today’s economy. The high number and quality of the entries we have received this year underlines the professionalism that runs through the modern logistics industry and I would like to thank all those companies and individuals that have taken the time to enter and, of course, our Awards sponsors.”
