Design your own packaging solution
Unlike many third-party suppliers or distributors, Pregis provides a personal, end-to-end service including consultancy, design, system selection, installation, training as well as on-going support. Our design team have extensive knowledge of a vast range of packing configurations including conveyor integration, multi-medium packing or heavy-duty goods. We can make simple adaptations that enable a convenient bolt-on solution or we can build you a complete system customised to your specific business needs.
Conveyor integration
Conveyor systems are often an integrated part of despatch, making it difficult to slot in a single packaging dispenser. However, our systems can be easily adapted to become fully integrated with any conveyor set up, helping to speed up the entire packing process, particularly for fast-moving goods or e-commerce.
Pregis systems produce a wide variety of in-the-box packaging at high speeds which can be delivered directly into hoppers for fast, easy access or direct into boxes for total efficiency.
Multi-purpose ergonomic workstations
Most packing operations use benches or workstations of one kind or another to pack or prepare goods for despatch. However, they often slow down despatch as they don’t easily accommodate packing accessories or packing mediums, or they are uncomfortable for operators to stand at for prolonged periods.
To address these issues, we designed the packstation™ which not only offers comfort and convenience, it can also be fully integrated with a range of different packaging systems including the entire Easypack® range which produces different types of 100% recycled paper packaging. Many customers, including a large multinational publisher, have fundamentally improved their packing operations from both standalone solutions and integrated conveyor systems.
Rapid auto-fill systems for on-demand packaging
We so often see void-fill being produced a bit at a time from dispensers or rolls, which is extremely time consuming. However there are really simple solutions that can instantly improve productivity.
Our easyfill™ reservoirs are hugely popular with customers because they can be easily configured into almost any ondemand packing operation. By simply integrating easyfill™ with any one of our packaging solutions, you can set your packaging size and just fill up the reservoir. It will then automatically re-fill as you go, making it far easier for operators to pack quickly and continuously.
Easyfill™ can be straddled between multiple benches, over conveyors with boxes on parallel conveyors, attached to bridges over a conveyor or simply integrated into multiple working areas.
