Flogas Britain, one of the UK’s leading LPG suppliers to the FLT and logistics industries has announced that it has doubled the size of its marketing team, as part of its continued process of putting customers first, and to build on the company’s reputation as the leading ‘experts in energy’.

Stacey Morgan – Sales & Marketing Director, Flogas Britain

The appointments of Sarah Gilbrook as Head of Marketing, Dominic Cavan as Customer Marketing Manager, and Dan Cooper as Digital Marketing Manager, have bolstered the now seven-strong team – which spans Flogas’ leading LPG offering, as well as LNG (liquefied natural gas) and mains gas for businesses.

Headed by Gilbrook, the marketing team will report into Stacey Morgan, also a recent recruit, who has joined Flogas at board level as Sales & Marketing Director.

Planning for success

With more than 25 years’ sales and marketing experience, Morgan has been appointed to lead the strategic direction of the Flogas brand. He says: “Flogas has long been established as a major LPG supplier in England, Scotland and Wales, and the last few years have seen the company go from strength to strength – introducing innovative new services and products to help serve a huge variety of energy needs. “Our strategic vision will accelerate the journey of the last few years, as we continue to strengthen our position in the energy market place, whilst ensuring that our customers, both commercial and domestic, are the central focus of everything we do.”

Putting customers first

Sarah Gilbrook is an awardwinning global marketer who will be responsible for delivering customerfocused, multi-channel marketing campaigns to new and existing customers. She is joined by Dominic Cavan, who brings with him 20 years’ experience in direct marketing and business development, and Dan Cooper, who has spent more than 15 years in digital marketing. Dan will lead Flogas’ online activity, ensuring its website remains a customerfriendly tool that not only provides information on the company and its services, but is a way for people to easily manage their Flogas account and gas deliveries any time of day or night.

Gilbrook added: “At Flogas, our customers are at the heart of everything we do, so it’s important that all of our marketing activity is geared towards understanding what our customers want, and making sure we engage with them in the right ways. I’m very excited to be part of such an experienced and forwardthinking team, and my colleagues and I are looking forward to unveiling some big plans in 2017.”

Flogas has also welcomed graduate trainee Alex Cattle, on a year-long marketing placement. He joins Sarah, Dominic and Dan, as well as Customer Marketing Managers Reena Mistry and Harriet Woodman, and Marketing Support Manager Jo-Anne Cluer in the new Flogas marketing team.

There is still one position to be filled before the team is complete, as Sarah Gilbrook explains: “We’re currently looking for an experienced Data & Insight Manager to join our team. It’s a key role within the marketing function, so the ideal candidate will be data curious, analytically savvy, commercially astute, and passionate about sharing their insight-driven recommendations to drive growth and make an impact. We haven’t finalised our recruitment for this role yet, so we’d welcome CVs from suitable candidates.”

Flogas has more than 30 years’ experience in providing tailored energy solutions to both commercial and domestic customers across the UK, delivering high-performance, reliable, cost-effective energy solutions. Flogas customers range from families living off the national grid, to large commercial entities that include distilleries, food manufacturers, farms, hotels & restaurants, logistics businesses and mining operations, to name just a few.
