The Leading MHE Fleet Management specialist I.D. Systems had a busy 2016 with the launch of new developments which were showcased at major trade fairs and events throughout the year. Whatever size of fleet you operate, I.D. Systems has smart MHE solutions which range from a simple driver access control product through to a multi-functional wireless based system infrastructure. The latest additions to the company’s offering enable even better monitoring of fleet performance for safer, more efficient and productive operations.

LogiMAT in March, CeMAT in May and IMHX in September were opportunities to introduce new products such as WebUX® & PowerFleet IQ® as well as the enhanced didBOX to a wide range of UK, European and international visitors.

PowerFleet IQ™, the innovative KPI dashboard tool for strategic in-depth analysis, is seen as the next step up in fleet analysis and management and is an optional add-on to the flagship PowerFleet® system. Particularly suited for use with large fleets across multiple sites, this product enables detailed benchmarking of data in order to facilitate best practice and to ascertain the potential for cost savings. WebUX® is an advanced statistic module for the straightforward evaluation of the mass of fleet data received on a daily basis, and as such it makes a key contribution to the theme of Big DATA.

The very popular didBOX access control product underwent a facelift this year and is now available with enhanced functions. It shares the hallmarks of its predecessor, being easy and quick to install and intuitive to operate. This modular version can be fitted with a wide range of options such as Safety Acceptance, a 3-axis programmable impact sensor and a visual beacon. Its increased IP Rating makes it a very rugged unit which can withstand harsh operational environments. A major advantage of didBOX is that it enables companies to limit MHE access to approved operators only, thereby reducing the potential risk of serious H&S issues. The recorded data provided by the system includes failed login attempts by unauthorized operators.

An eye catcher on the stand at IMHX at the NEC was also the new generation of hardware, the VAC4, fitted to a tow tractor from electric vehicle manufacturer Bradshaw, which gave visitors a hands on opportunity to try out the new features of this very easy to install unit.

“We were impressed with the very positive reaction to our new developments at all the events and seminars we attended this year,” said Ute Filippone, Business Manager EMEA & UK, “and we look forward to working with our new and established business partners in 2017.”
