The easy-to-install Highbay and Lowbay LED Luminaires can deliver electricity savings of up to 80% when compared to old high intensity discharge (HID) or metal halide lamps without compromising on the working lux levels, which are extremely important for workers’ wellbeing and for the reduction of accidents. The 150W model is fitted with pre-anodized aluminium reflectors to control the high 15,000 lumen output with low glare, has an efficiency of up to 100lm/W and a long life of 40,000 hours.
Whereas HID lamps have a ‘warmup’ time, the LED models can be switched on instantly and are dimmable to allow for lighting control in individual warehouse aisles. Additionally, as the luminaires work on a higher voltage with lower current, less heat is generated through the board, which means that there is no need for a dedicated heat sink as all the heat is managed through the aluminium back plate. This also makes the luminaires lighter and more compact than competitor products.
