The Rack Group had a successful evening at the recent Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce Business Awards, taking home the Innovation in Business Award, Excellence in International Trade and taking second place for the Skills Development Award.
The lavish awards ceremony took place in the centre of Barnsley with over 150 guests representing numerous businesses from within the region.
With hundreds of applicants for the awards the company were delighted with their spoils for the evening. “We’re delighted with the outcome of the evening” comments Jenny Charlton, Director of The Rack Group Ltd. “It’s great to receive recognition for the hard work our team puts in each day, especially when you see some of the businesses we were up against today, I couldn’t be prouder”.
The Innovation in Business Award was given based on The Rack Groups stellar efforts working with their customer base to reduce racking repair costs whilst keeping disruption on site to a minimum. Saving one of our blue chip clients over £1,000,000 in the first year, it’s easy to see how they took this award home.
The Excellence in International Trade was awarded to The Rack Group’s Sister Company, Rack Armour Ltd, for their incredible level of sales throughout export markets. Now selling in well over 100 Countries Rack Armour continues to gain prominence as the world’s most effective next generation pallet racking protection device.
Last but certainly not least was The Rack Group’s second place, highly commended acclaim for the Skills Development Award. Based on The Rack Group’s relentless efforts to train its workforce to give them the expertise required to complete their daily duties efficiently and safely.
