About Geami WrapPak

Geami WrapPak is a one-of-a kind wrapping material used for protecting products during shipment. Customer receiving the package benefit from the superior product protection which ensures safe delivery of purchased items. Geami WrapPak also creates a wow-effect in the unpacking experience due to the unique in-the-box presentation of wrapped items. Furthermore as a 100% paper solution, it is the first truly sustainable alternative for plastic bubble wrap, making it easier for customers to dispose of packaging material responsibly.

How does it work?

A combination of patented expanding die cut paper and a tissue interleaf creates a wrapping material with unique properties. When expanded, hundreds of angled cells deflect shock away from the wrapped item while the cells lock together to prevent product migration. Combined with the soft interleaf tissue delicate items are protected from scratching during shipment. Because the expanded cells of the die cut wrapping material interlock there is no tape needed to keep the wrapping material in place around the product. As with all Ranpak products, a converter is used to create the material on-demand at the packers workstation, saving valuable warehouse space which would otherwise be needed to store the wrapping materials like bubble wrap. The Geami WrapPak High Volume converter also increases packing throughput as it enables packers to wrap at higher speed.

About Ranpak

Founded in 1972, Ranpak’s goal was to create the first environmentally responsible packaging material to effectively cushion and protect products during shipment. The constant development and improvement of materials, systems and total solution concepts have earned Ranpak a reputation as an innovative leader in the packaging industry.
