“We are delighted with our recent nominations and the success of our trucks and solutions at IFOY 2015, these clearly demonstrate that Jungheinrich continues to set new engineering standards in our industry,” declared Jonathan Morris, Corporate Sales Director at Jungheinrich UK. The Hamburg-based company had already been the recipient of this high-calibre award several times previously winning already in the categories of Counterbalanced Trucks Over 3.5 Tonnes and Warehouse Trucks categories. “The award for our electric counterbalanced truck underlines our pace-setting role in terms of innovation and client benefits,” continued Morris.
Electric Counterbalanced Truck:
2-Shift Operation, No Battery Change Necessary
This counterbalanced truck EFG S30s is essentially the “little brother” of the EFG S40s model, which won an IFOY Award in 2014. Produced at the Jungheinrich plant in Moosburg, Germany, this truck stands out for its advanced, ergonomic operators workstation. The innovative workstation offers a holistic, intuitive operating interface, as well as, a completely redesigned, ergonomic armrest. The new truck features a new electronic controller increasing efficiency as well as a colour TFT operator display, a USB port and with the opportunity to install various hardware and software.
The EFG S30s also exemplifies the new “Pure Energy” concept, which gives extremely low energy consumption, making it possible to operate the vehicle over two shifts without the need to change the battery. Thus Jungheinrich has the option of two-shift operation without the need to recharge or change batteries for its battery-powered forklifts.
Jungheinrich ranks among the world’s leading companies in the material handling equipment, warehousing and material flow sectors. The company is an intralogistics service and solution provider with manufacturing operations, which offers its customers a comprehensive range of forklift trucks, logistics systems, services and advice.
