Sheffield based manufacturing specialist, Birley Manufacturing, strengthen their presence as a supplier to the warehousing industry by joining the UKWA as an associate member.
Birley is a supplier of picking and packing benches, mobiles, live storage and internet fulfilment stations to the warehouse industry. We provide high efficiency units with the capability to integrate with electronic, paperless order-picking systems and conveyor equipment.
UKWA is Britain’s leading trade organisation representing the third party logistics (3PL) sector. The Association has over 650 member companies operating nearly 10 million square metres of warehousing from around 2000 depots across the UK.
Whilst UKWA membership is comprised predominantly of third party warehousing and logistics service providers, the Association’s membership is not restricted to these companies, meaning that manufacturers and wholesalers are also able to join UKWA.
