VG Energy on Fire as it Installs 195 Biomass Boilers in 2014, Earning Businesses £58 million over 20 years and Saving 183,000 tonnes of CO2
VG Energy, the renewable technologies firm, has further strengthened its position at the forefront of the UK’s biomass boiler industry following continued success in 2014 and the installation of 195 biomass boilers across the UK.
VG Energy is an engineering led business with significant experience designing, installing, commissioning, and maintaining large scale renewable technology products for customers across many industry types. VG has 850 Biomass, Wind, Solar PV projects in its portfolio, from its Ayrshire, Aberdeenshire, and Yorkshire offices where it employs almost 100 staff.
The company recently expanded the number of full-time installation teams to seven, from one team in late 2013, and in addition, has established two Servicing and Maintenance teams – operating across the UK to provide 24/7 365 days a year technical support to its customer base from its fleet of 20 vans. The company is on average installing six boilers per week as well as servicing multiple boilers.
