Lux Live is a grand affair with all the important Lighting Companies present with their beautiful stands offering energy-efficient, smart controlled LED lights for Homes, Warehouses and Distribution Centres.

“Make money from your warehouse lighting”. Well…no, they didn’t say that. But we did. Missed us?
We are developing a brand new technology – automatic/smart demand response in Lighting, that can be incorporated within most LED light sources and the AdrON, as it’s called, was being demonstrated on our stand and in an event within the Lux Arena.
The AdrON incorporates what we call Frequency Monitoring technology that can detect either a power cut or heavy pressure being placed on the Grid and then the lights will immediately, automatically and undetectably switch to being powered by their own internal energy store and therefore not use any electricity at that time – for up to 3 hours or intermittently if this suits better. Pay peak tariff rates no more. Smart.

Pre-purchased surplus energy can be re-sold at a good price.

Co2 emissions will in fact be even further curtailed as the Grid smoothing and balancing that occurs when the AdrON switches to it’s own power store, will lessen dependency on dirty, carbon emitting generation during periods of peak demand.
The National Grid welcome the possibility of re-charging the AdrON when they have too much energy – i.e. when tariffs are low.
The beautiful iViTi ICE Highbay for example is being developed with AdrON capabilities by an UK design team, testing by the Lighting Association and manufacture at SONY UKTEC – late spring 2015.
The invention has just won the PEA Award for Clean Tech by the inventor and is also being considered by the House of Lords as they seek answers to energy non- resilience in the UK.
The icing on the cake is that we “keep the lights stay ON” during a power cut as the AdrON can differentiate between a power cut and normal switching, it will remain ON for up to 3 hours, improving workplace safety.
