SSI Schaefer enjoyed a successful TCS&D 2013 event in Peterborough last week showcasing its standard range of storage equipment for both frozen and ambient environments, including live storage case picking, adjustable pallet racking and plastic distribution containers.
On this occasion, the show attracted a healthy amount of visitors from a wide range of industries and not just those relating to chilled and cold food storage. Attendees showed a keen interest in the range of racking systems available from SSI Schaefer that are ideal for the temperature controlled storage and distribution market and a number of leads were generated for this specific market sector. Products available included the Regal 3000 shelving system which can also provide high density storage for other industries, including engineering and automotive.
SSI Schaefer also exhibited their extensive range of plastic containers which provide excellent protection for loose items in the chilled and frozen environment, allowing easy handling – the company’s returnable containers also help to reduce packaging costs and stock damage.
Visitors were attracted to the SSI Schaefer stand by a video demonstration of their Orbiter product – a unique deep pallet, high density storage and retrieval system which leads the way in the provision of safe and controllable technology – perfect for temperature controlled environments. The video also showcased the latest in mobile racking from SSI Schaefer, a pragmatic, state-of the-art space-saving solution for ambient as well as freezer warehousing.
