Curtiss-Wright Controls, Inc. has announced that it received a contract from a leading manufacturer of floor-cleaning machines to supply its motor controller technology for use in a new electric floor-cleaning machine. Under the agreement, Curtiss-Wright Controls Industrial (CWCI) division will provide its Sigmadrive ACT212S motor controller. The estimated value of the contract over its five year lifetime is in excess of $1 million. Shipments of the motor controllers commenced in the second quarter of 2013.
