A leading forklift truck accessory provider is going from strength to strength after launching a new improved website to help it capitalise on the continued expansion of both its UK and international client base.
Contact Attachments, based in Newtown, Mid Wales, has revamped its www.forklift-attachments.co.uk portal to incorporate a range of new features, including an extensive online shop, in-depth product brochures, and dynamic video clips of its range of attachments in action.
The firm, which employs around 60 staff between two sites, has been designing and manufacturing bespoke high-quality forklift attachments and materials handling equipment since being founded in 1974. Its clients span a variety of sectors, including a number of local authorities and construction firms, petrochemicals giants such as BP and Esso, utilities companies like Scottish Power and Powergen, and major retailers including John Lewis. In the last few months, Contact Attachments has also secured contracts to supply products to a number of Formula 1 motor-racing teams, including Mercedes Benz F1 and Lotus Racing.

“Not only do we have well-established links and customers across continental Europe, where for example, we have recently designed and manufactured a bespoke Aerial Rescue Platform that is being used at a major dock in Belgium, but we have also supplied products to clients in the United States, northern and central Africa, and the Middle East. We have also just added a dedicated sales agent in Moscow to help us increase our presence in the Russian market.”
