Flextronics Global Services and Software (FGSS) have provided a £10,000 boost to a charity providing care and support for children with life-threatening conditions.

The Warrington-based provider of worldwide supply chain services invited staff to bid for a company donation by giving a presentation to senior management about a charity close to their heart.

Several members of staff participated but it was decided that the sum would be used to support the work of the Shannon Bradshaw Trust – a charity which helps children with life-threatening conditions and their families.

FGSS General Manager, Mike Meades, said: “We’re very pleased to announce the Shannon Bradshaw Trust as our charity of the year. The work they do in our local community and across the UK is fantastic so we’re delighted to be able to support them with a donation and additional fundraising activities throughout the year.”
