Following their successful attendance at 2011’s event, RTITB will once again be exhibiting at Logistics Link Live, to be held at the NEC Birmingham from 13th-14th June 2012.

There is often a misconception regarding lift truck operators, that they have an easy job – and at times no thought is given to the ins and outs of their everyday role. Many often also fail to notice the high level of safety awareness that must be applied when operating a lift truck, and how ignorance towards safety can have massive repercussions.

In a bid to raise awareness of this highly important message, RTITB will be utilising their appearance at Logistics Link Live to give managers, supervisors and novice operators the chance to experience, first hand, just what being a lift truck operator really entails. By entering the RTITB live test zone, visitors will be given the opportunity to operate a lift truck, putting themselves in the shoes of the operators who work within our industry.

Participants will need to apply a great level of skill and awareness in order to succeed in the task at hand. The best operator from each day will be awarded with a fantastic Red Letter day experience from RTITB, along with the knowledge that they hold some pretty nifty skills.

During the two day event, RTITB will also be promoting their Materials Handling Accreditation Service, and the Master Driver CPC Consortium – RTITB’s total solution to Driver CPC Periodic Training. RTITB will also have special offers and freebies available for the duration of the event.

For the chance to see if you have what it takes to be a lift truck operator, visit the RTITB live test zone at stand 235. Attendance to Logistics Link Live is free and can be registered at www.logisticslink.co.uk. Visit www.rtitb.co.uk/events for more information on forthcoming RTITB events.
